Please join us! We need support with everything from answering our hotline to soliciting donations. Below you’ll find different volunteer profiles and the skills/hours required to take on the work. Fill out the form below and we’ll get back to you.
Volunteer Roles
We need help with a range of roles.
Hotline
Volunteer for a regular shift answering out hotline – our first point of contact with clients.
Ideal candidate: Advanced Spanish, Organized, Patient, Empathetic
Commitment: 3 months, 2-4 hours on call per week.
Case Work
Support follow-up on support for clients including communication with client, family, and coordinating services.
Ideal candidate: Advanced Spanish, Organized, Patient, Empathetic
Commitment: 4 months, 4 hours of work per week.
Social Media
Help us tell our story, develop our voice, and generate leads for volunteers and donations.
Ideal candidate: Social Media Savvy, Strong Communicator, Strategic
Commitment: 6 months, 2 hours of work per week.
Research/Follow-up
Carry out supporting research for our case work including tracking down files/forms and contacting partners.
Ideal candidate: Self Starter, Organized, Strong Follow-through
Commitment: 4 months, 2-4hours of work per week
Grant Writing
Support us in growing our fundraising base, identifying and applying for relevant grants using our data.
Ideal candidate: Grant Experience, Strong Writer, Story-telling
Commitment: 2 months, flexible hours.
Fundraising
Help us grow our community of supporters by coordinating a fundraiser such as a dinner or event.
Ideal canidate: Outgoing, passionate, connected
Commitment: Flexible, minimum one event.
